There are No Limits to Prayer
When people pray together their intention is magnified. As Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

During ministerial school, Reverend Lei Lanni had a vision of inviting and empowering congregants into holding spiritual space and praying with each other. The seeds of this vision, this God idea, like a mustard seed, have grown and continues to grow through each Prayer Chaplain, each Prayer Chaplain Program, and in the many congregations around the world.
While serving as Senior Minister in Santa Rosa, California, Lei Lanni developed and implemented the first Prayer Chaplain Program. She brought this program with her to Unity Church of Phoenix and successfully implemented the program having trained over 125 Prayer Chaplains from February 1998 through March of 2005.
In 1999 she created the Trainers' Workshop inviting other ministries to Phoenix to learn how to start this Program in their congregations. By August 2005, 641 individuals had gone through this workshop taking it into 260 ministries world-wide.
Linda Hoy attended a Train the Trainer workshop in 2020. Linda is leading the Prayer Chaplain Ministry here at Unity of the White Mountains and have put together a prayer chaplaincy team. They will pray with congregants throughout the month and after 30 days the requests are sent to Silent Unity.
