Sermon Notes: The Power of the Spoken Word

  • Words Create Reality
    Our words are not neutral—they carry vibration, direct energy, and shape our experience.

  • The Faculty of Power
    The Power within us (one of the Twelve Powers) is our ability to express, direct, and bring ideas into manifestation—especially through our speech.

  • Words = Energy in Motion
    Both spiritual teaching and quantum understanding affirm that words carry frequency and influence the field of possibility.

  • High vs. Low Vibration Speech

    • Higher: love, peace, gratitude, compassion, faith, possibility

    • Lower: criticism, judgment, gossip, complaint, blame, unsolicited advice

  • Inner Dialogue Matters
    The most important words we speak are often the ones we say to ourselves. Awareness is key.

  • Spiritual Practice of Speech
    Ask before speaking:

    • Is it true?

    • Is it life-giving?

    • Is it necessary?

  • Sacred Pause
    Not every thought needs to be spoken. Sometimes the most powerful choice is silence.

  • Practical Tools
    Pause • Listen • Reframe • Affirm • Allow silence • Bless instead of judge

    Make a sacred commitment to speak with awareness, intention, and compassion.

    Change your words → shift your energy → transform your life.
