Minister’s Musing: March 5, 2026

After being away on vacation, there is something deeply comforting about coming home. The familiar sights, the rhythm of daily life, and the simple joy of being in one’s own space remind us that home is more than a place—it is a feeling of belonging. Traveling can refresh and inspire us, but returning home often brings a quiet awareness of how grateful we are for the life and community that hold us. It also offers a gentle moment to reflect, integrate the experiences we’ve had, and step back into our lives with renewed appreciation.

Spiritually, coming home is something we do again and again. Whenever life pulls us outward into busyness, worry, or distraction, we can pause, breathe, and return to the sacred center within us. In that stillness we remember that the presence of God has never left us. Home is always within, waiting to welcome us back with peace, wisdom, and love.

Affirmation:

I return to the quiet center within me.

I am grounded, grateful, and at home in Spirit.
