Unity of the White Mountains has two levels of membership, each with its own set of qualifications.
Everyone is welcome to attend our services, classes, and events without becoming a member.
Community Membership:
Community Members agree to three things:
- A commitment to their own Spiritual Development
- Sacred service, volunteering in meaningful ways
- Regular attendance at Sunday service
Community Members do not vote. Community Membership does not expire.
Governing Membership:
Governing Members complete a series of classes to cultivate governing member competencies in leadership and management. They also commit to greater levels of sacred service. They are eligible to serve on the Board of Trustees and to vote on all issues placed before the congregation. Governing Membership is renewed each year before the annual meeting which is usually in July.
